Yep, five bona fide divas, and after this Wrestlemania 32 weekend you to will agree. If you have ever enjoyed the WWE’s Womens Division, then have no fear it’ll be in good hands. At least in my opinion any way. I looked for originality, ring work, and mic skills. I think that’s pretty much a fair assessment to rank pro wrestlers by. So here it is. Oh before that I wanted to do two honorable mentions to two wrestlers, who always wrestle their hearts out and that should be just as excited, Natalya (@natbynature) and Paige (@realpaigewwe). Natalya for being wrestling through and through as her family, the Harts, are synonymous with wrestling and WWE. She’s basically royalty. Paige for bringing back that spirit that the division needed. And that spirit will burn even brighter once the powers that be at WWE get out the way, get on board, and let these wrestles work.
This little lass kicker brings a heaping helping of talent to the division. Just one of the break out stars from WWE’s NXT. Becky currently appears on RAW/Smackdown and will be headlining a divas championship match this Sunday April 3rd at Wrestlemania 32. A member of the four horse women Becky knows how to wrestle, and she wrestles well.
There’s a jolt in the air once Bayley’s intro music pops on and the inflatable dancing men usher in the current NXT Womens Champion. Bayley will be defending that title against my #3 spot Friday April 1st at NXT TAKEOVER Dallas. As a member of the four horse women Bayley electrifies the fans with her energy and heart. Oh yeah, and she’s a hugger.
This insanely talented wrestler makes her way to the ring with the swagger of an ultimate warrior looking to fight. Which is what Asuka’s bringing to Bayley this Friday at NXT TAKEOVER Dallas. Asuka will hit you hard, eat a shot to the chin with a smile, and then knock you out. If Asuka wants your lunch money, you give her your lunch money. Asuka’s gonna kill you, Asuka’s gonna kill you, Asuka’s gonna kill you…
It’s all about Emma! Now that Emma’s had a change of heart from ditsy and clumsy face to self-absorbed and oddly focused, yet still clumsy (style points), heel, she’s been racking up the fans. Emma’s ring presence screams attention getter and originality. With moves like the Emma sandwich, the dilemma, and the Emma lock it’s all about the #Emmalution this Sunday at Wrestlemania 32.
And my number one diva to believe in…
Sasha Banks is the legit boss and has been putting the women’s division on notice since her days on NXT. Sasha is also one of the three members of the four horse women competing for the Divas championship this Sunday at Wrestlemania 32. Sasha’s style and swag inside and outside the ring drips charisma and charm, saucein’! Also Sasha’s ability to play such a dastardly heel that elicits chants like, “Sasha’s ratchet!” is the reason why her adoring fans will forever rebuttal, “No she’s not!”. With a submission move called, “The Bank Statement” Sasha will be keeping the womens division in check. We the WWE universe know what Sasha can do and we want more. We want Sasha! We want Sasha! We want Sasha! Here she is…the champ, bank on it. (hopefully)
