I Don’t Ask For Much…Netflix

And it looks as though I won’t have to ask for much more come September 2016.  According to Newsarama.com and other various entertainment news sites Netflix will start its exclusive contract with Disney as their pay tv service.

What does this mean?  All of Disney’s tv and film catalogs will be available for streaming on Netflix.  From Marvel to Lucasfilms as well as Pixar all in one place for your viewing pleasure.  In some cases Netflix will be the only place to see some of your favorite Disney shows and movies.  Newly released films like Star Wars, Captain America: Civil War, Dr. Strange, Black Panther, and Secret Avengers/New Avengers (I’m calling it now these are the new titles lol) will most likely only be available through Netflix.  Can you say gold mine!

Can you tell I’m excited?  The possibility of there being more Netflix produced Marvel shows like Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist makes me giddy.  So far they have done great work.  When the deal to bring those shows to Netflix was first announced I had a feeling they might become Disney/Marvel’s streaming service.  Looking at the rapidly changing landscape of television people want their shows when they want them and with no commercials.

So get to it.  Sign up or take a page from rapper Lil Dicky’s “Save dat Money”, and get logins for Netflix from your cousin Greg…Thanks Greg! (Or whomever)

Be sure to come say hi at the Space City Cloud booth at this years local Houston pop culture convention Comicpalooza June 17-19 @ the George R. Brown.  We got them new tees coming.  Plus $1000 Street Fighter 5 & Smash Bros tournaments held by Fight Sessions and their affiliate Smash United!
