Oh, would you look at that!?! Netflix is back at it again providing quality commercial free streaming. Next Friday June 10th they are giving us Dreamworks Animation TV’s Voltron: Legendary Defender!
I grew up watching the old reruns, of which at the time I didn’t know were reruns. I didn’t even know it was anime! (Lol…what a loser) But now comes the newest adaption and it looks amazing. Funny I was already following Steve Ahn (Director) and Joaquim Dos Santos (Director/Producer) on instagram because of their mad crazy art skills, and they are both working on Voltron! I can’t wait to binge all 11 episodes and then immediately regret it because I have to wait for more…*sigh*. Just in case you were wondering Shiro was my favorite. You can go to the Voltron Legendary Defender website for story, info, and character bios. Here’s a little something something to whet your appetite.
I don’t ask for much, but I’m sure I’ll be asking for a second season of Voltron: Legen-(wait for it)-dary Defender on Netflix!
Starring the voice talents of Josh Keaton, Tyler Labine, Jeremy Shada, Bex Taylor-Klaus, and Steven Yeun, the complete first season of Voltron: Legendary Defender drops June 10 on Netflix.
Btw…Be sure to come say hi at the Space City Cloud booth at this years local Houston pop culture convention Comicpalooza June 17-19 @ the George R. Brown. We got them new tees coming. Plus $1000 Street Fighter 5 & Smash Bros tournaments held by Fight Sessions and their affiliate Smash United!
For all its improvements in form and content, it has not sacrificed fundamental candy-colored cheesiness for fashionable dark modernity.
Exactly! If they had it would have lost all of its appeal.
